I believe the Marine Corps provides security, there were three Marines at the front doors. Joe Sunshine, the Marines I saw at the front door of the Museum were in Camouflage Utilities with side arms.
This is USMC property secured by MP's.
The Museum has several layers of security provided by MCB Quantico Security Battalion and state and local police. Security is also provided through a government contract with EML, LLC.
It's not secured by MP's Mr. Potter. I've never seen MP's driving around in little cars with a contract security name clearly posted on the sides. My buddy works there. A former E9. He provided me with the info of the contract security company. By the way, numerous bases have contracted security and not Mp's at different areas... I worked at the FBI Academy at Quantico as a civilian! Mr. Nimchuck, you may have seen some Marines standing at the door, but that may have been for ceremonial purposes. Where they in Dress Blues, Alpha or Bravo perhaps? Also, many Marines actually like to visit there. My own son was there with a group of other Marines. Is that not normal? How many times have you been there?? The perimeter is definitely secured by contract security.... I also did the (application) online. Not too many places where you go filling out applications these days. You also would do it at a contract site. You'd have to find their HQ's...
You would have to go fill out an application or call the 800 number for details.
