I went last wek (june 20), did 25mins outside, 10 inside (both before buying ticket) 5 minutes waiting for elevator and finally another 5 waiting to gather group.. total 45 minutes to begin experience.

Priority Access offers immediate access to thr box offoce and entry. Look for orange shirted street ambassadors in the area with decent offers.
I went and bought tickets on the spot during my visit two weeks back, and the purchase and security check took around 5-10 mins.
If you book it in advance, the line is minimal. I'd recommend to go online and check availability at different times.
On our visit in February, the line in security wask less than two minutes. We had bought standard tickets in advance.
It varies by the day. We bought rush tickets online for a couple of days ahead since we were there all weekend. It is worth a visit!
