I plan on visiting here sometime in April. When would be the best time to go, Early in the morning or late afternoon?

Your preference! Early includes school trips, etc....later is equally busy...worth the trip! Have cameras ready 'cause as soon as u get off the elevator there's a breathtaking show, its quick though. Enjoy.

Earlier is probably better in general. You can also buy tickets in advance so you can skip the ticket line (though there will likely still be a line for the elevators).

Based on my experience you should go late afternoon, you get to see some of the day light and the amazing sunset.

With limited time in NYC 🗽 I got there for the morning opening time which was less crowded and left me the rest of the day free to explore my favorite city.

I feel you should go before sunset so you get to see the city during the day and at night.

Early morning. Nice Spring weather On April.

Early in the morning is best if you don't want too many people but if you go late afternoon towards sunset you will have a nice view of New York at night but it tends to be busier then.

That's what I do too like Gabby. Go late afternoon. You'll get to see views in daylight, sunset and night view when the city's lights are on.

When I went during the holiday season with 3 kids under 5 the wasn't long. They're very organized with getting people on the elevators and through the exhibit. Enjoy definitely a sight to see.
