Heard about an IPad rental atop One world and how it describes the views . How does this work?

If you point it towards a famous New York landmark, it will identify it. You don't really need an iPad to tell you you're looking at the Statue of Liberty or Empire State Building, so it's not really worth it.

John Delgado | Sep 26, 2018

Not really worth it unless you do not know the landmarks but then it is still limited because after a few times that you use it, you just admire the views without it.

I would skip it and enjoy the live views

Agree with Ganesh.... Might be helpful for foreigners

You can use it if you're interested to explore deep. Very very few people rent it out. Not really a necessity, if you're just out to have casual fun.

$15 when we went; difficult to manipulate, a bit touchy; but interesting "zoom video" feature when pointed at selected landmarks

Scott Brod | Sep 26, 2018

Not worth it

Its ok. Not great but if you don't know anything about surrounding new york its definitely a value add for $10
