Yes you do. You can also use it in your home state when you are home. The only items you can buy without a membership are liquor and presvriptions.

You would have to pay for a full year membership which is $45. At Sam's you don't need a membership but there will be an additional charge of 15% at checkout without one.

I had to when i went to Mexico, because i forgot my card, but if you have an active card it should work at any Sam's store. If not look for a one day printable coupon
