After buying a washer from Home Depot, i received a call from them asking to come evaluate my water, and asked questions about my house. This is not a good policy. Has anyone else had this experience?

I also worked for Home Depot. That type of invasive call is not related to you purchasing a washer. The only way someone would come test your water is if you filled out a free water test card. I agree with the one who said contact the store you purchased your washer from. Ask why would any be contacting you.

Worked for HD for a couple of years, and each store manager chooses certain vendors to perform follow up sales, for example, A/C seasonal checks. Best bet, call that stores main number and express your concern over unwanted calls and your privacy. I am certain that will "fix" the issue. HD works to hard to gain market share, it could just be an over achiever in appliance sales 😎

No, that sounds like a scam in the making. Call their main office and ask them.
