It's better for children under 5. However the crowds that flock there now are too big for us and ive tried all different times of day and days of the week. My kids been stepped on twice and always, always, gets pushed out of activities by kids 8-12yrs of age. Ps watch out for the playsand in the dino area, cigarette butt city.
The museum is designed for ages 2-8. Some younger and some older enjoy it. It is set up for the littles.
My 7 year old still enjoys it. There is a variety of activities at different levels. There is something for everyone
My kids and I love this place! It is set up for 2-8yr olds. It does get busy sometimes, but I call to see if there is a field trip currently there. It's not too busy around lunchtime. Smoking isn't allowed anywhere near there and I've never seen it. The dinosaur sand pit is right out the door by the front desk. They would smell it if someone was smoking. If there is a problem, just ask the staff for help. They are amazing!!
