I have two dogs and they go to River City Vet's daycare for play and socializing once or twice a month. My dogs always come back happy and tired. All of the staff are very friendly. I haven't used them for veterinarian services yet, but I plan to when their next round of shots are needed. I would definitely recommend River City Vet.

Our dog was very pleased with her stay overnight. She was given her medicine she takes and had her nails clipped!! Excellent job on her nails. Thank you very much. I was stunned with the overnight boarding cost though. Everyone wa so friendly and professional!! Thank you!! Diana

I had relayed concerns with scheduling and river city vet resolved all concerns I had. I have brought all my animals to them for 3 years and I will continue to bring them. I am very pleased with river city vet amd I love the how much they care about my pets. They are professional, and care about their patients.

With the pandemic they did the best that anyone could hope for. Stayed in contact with me and kept me up to date on what was going on with my puppy. Was a little spendy with everything that had to be completed but they have programs you can get into. As well they take care credit

Questions & Answers

I’m pretty sure my dog’s teeth hurt—she is slow to eat and it seems to hurt her to do so. What should I do?

Hi there. Pet dental health is just as important as human dental health, and we take this very seriously. We encourage you to bring your dog in for an exam so we can determine what’s wrong with her, and if the problem is her teeth, we will work with you to develop a care plan which may include brushing techniques, oral health appointments and more. Please contact us so we can help your dog enjoy her food once again!

I am looking for a dog boarding facility for a 7 day period in November for my Lab who is not dog friendly so going out for playtime he would have to go alone and play fetch with a human.

Hi Cheryl, we'd love to meet your lab! Please give us a call at (208) 888-7300 so that we can discuss your dog's unique needs and the services available for pets staying in our Pet Resort.

I have a Corgi named Sidera and a sweet cat named Cake. I’m going out of town for a bit and looking for a place to board them. Not sure if this vet boards cats, does anyone know?

Hello! At River City Veterinary Hospital, we have a full-service pet resort with spacious suites, separate doggie and kitty cat areas and much more. Sidera will love our large suites and Splash Zone, while Cake will love the extra wide windowsill that provides plenty of sun, as well as the fun cat toys sprinkled throughout the rest of the facility, which is Certified Cat-Friendly. We can’t wait to meet Sidera and Cake!

My little dog is absolutely terrified of the vet. She starts shaking the minute we pull up. I’m looking for a different veterinarian in the area, one that can accommodate her. What separates River City Vet from others?
