Our little man loved it. We have been to a ton of children's museums and while this one isn't the best, it's still really good especially for the price. We got a membership and it'll pay for itself in just area visits. I wish the hours were a little better but that's about it. Normal stuff like a doctor's office, grocery store, a vet, and then some unique stuff like a HUGE train table and a pirate ship.

Been here now three times but now feeling really sour after our last visit. Seems others feel the same way with their kids not able to be kids. My 15 month old was pushing around an empty shopping cart enjoying life and was only around the pirate ship area, not outside and not in other rooms. I was watching him close and he wasn’t fast with the cart or dangerous with it. Some employee piped up and stated in a rude tone that the carts had to remain in the Trader’s Joe section. I’m personally glad my baby’s loud cries seem to bother the employee. I am well aware of the rules of clean up and would put it back of course if that was the concern. Also my baby isn’t a grown child hitting kids or running around recklessly. Please read the room next time!

What an Amazing place, we enjoyed the Children's Museum immensely! Unfortunately I’m not giving a 5 Star review because of the older woman (short curly hair)at the front desk. She certainly seemed to be bothered checking us in as that took away from her “scheduling.” Our little one was so excited to be there, so he was being loud & joyful all while trying to be patient to wait his turn to go in. She rolled her eyes at him 3 times & almost lost it when he attempted to run inside before our transaction was complete. As the face of the program (the front desk staff) should be warm & welcoming, especially working with an inclusive group of children. Again, the Children’s Museum is Awesome, they just need to invest in a kind front desk host!

It's better for children under 5. However the crowds that flock there now are too big for us and ive tried all different times of day and days of the week. My kids been stepped on twice and always, always, gets pushed out of activities by kids 8-12yrs of age. Ps watch out for the playsand in the dino area, cigarette butt city.
At this time, food and beverages are not allowed in the museum. Next month we are opening an outdoor exhibit and we will include tables and chairs so people can bring lunch or snacks. With regard to the no beverage policy which includes water;.if a beverage is spilled we don't know if it is water, urine, coffee, apple juice...we must close down the exhibit, sanitize the spill, and wait for it it dry. Most museums adhere to the same policy; we are not unique that we do not allow food or beverages and hope that the outdoor area will make the visit more comfortable.
The museum is designed for children ages 2-8 and their parent or other adult caregiver. Admission is $8 for anyone over age 2 which includes adults. We ask the adult that is with the child to have the child restore the exhibit after interacting and playing within it. Although the museum is ADA accessible, motorized scooters are not provided.
A lot of museums and galleries are closed at least one day a week. The Louvre in Paris is even closed on Tuesdays.
Ages 2 and over are $8 each We offer annual passes that cost $85 for one adult and one child, additional people in the same household can be added for $25 each. We also offer punchcards that cost $60 for 10 visits. Please call if you need more information.
