I think you can buy firewood from the camp host for a reasonable price. Make sure campfires are allowed when you go. And yes, Springville is about a 40 minute drive out.
Springville is your only real choice up there but, it's a nice place and prices aren't too bad.

There is wood to burn but it wouldnt hurt to bring a little bit, as for ice best get it at Springville abefore you go up the mountain.
We are currently still in a fire ban as of August 2022 which should go through to the end of this year (2022.) Only propane stoves with on and off switches can be used. No wood or charcoal burning is allowed. I mention this so that people will not bring wood/charcoal for naught.
We just camped there and it has recovered nicely from the previous fire. The camp host sells bundles of wood at a fair price, and it burned way better than the stuff we bought at our local grocery store! You shouldn't forage for wood in any state park. Springville is a nice little town for supplies and meals, and not too far away tho it takes a little bit to drive because the campground is on a winding mountain road.
