Great place to take your friends and family for a relaxing and mellow camping trip. Plenty of trout to catch at the pond. They offer restrooms, clean running water, bear proof storage, picnic tables and bond fire pits.

It's close for the public until fire clean up finishes.

This campground is adjacent to a fishing pond. The bathrooms smell pretty bad and other people can be quite rowdy, rude, and intrusive. The camp host during recent July months is kind. It can also get quite crowded on Thursdays through Sundays or if other campground are closed (i.e. Balch Park of Tulare County, July 2019). Rating: 3.5 stars

I don't know if any that are close by that would be ok for Young swimmers.
Did you arrive early in the morning?
Yes
You are correct Bryen. They have to always be on a leash, monitored, and cleaned up after.
That would be hard to answer ahead of time. The spaces are first come first serve.
You are correct the picture of the mountains is a different picture. I've flagged it as not relevant.
