I have a rescue Lab who is a little bit leash aggressive (barks his head off at other dogs, wants to be their friend, but is also protective of me). Are the on-leash rules enforced? He's old (10) and I want to take him before he's too old.

Yes but there are people that don't abide by the rules so dogs may randomly get in your space unannounced. Your pup might not appreciate that.

Yes the rules are posted at the entrance to the beach walkway itself. The leash length is 6ft max. It's also for the safety of other dogs. They have to be leashed at all times.

The rules say to keep dogs on a leash but most people don’t listen. Not a good place for dogs that don’t want other dogs approaching them (like my little dog that unfortunately has to stay home for this reason).
