It is a short beach and I would say the only requirement is dog is supposed to be leashed and owner is supposed to clean up after the dog. However, both of the "supposed to's" are ignored by too many. Who will be the first to complain when the non-compliance is used to close it as a dog beach.
Like all Brevard County "dog friendly " areas, a max 6ft leash is required and make sure to grab the doggie clean up bags. However as others said be warned that people dont always keep their pets leashed and if you happen to be a pit owner, be prepared to get some real nasty looks.
Not at all. Just clean up after your pup and politely tell anyone else to clean up after theirs if you see that they are not :)
No, it's just a beach that you walk out on.
