This is a dog beach, probably wouldn't be a good idea to be a cat
I think taking a cat would cause some dogs to be very reactive and the ordinance is for dogs to be on the beach leashed but unfortunately there are people who let their dogs run free and getting in other dogs faces. We encountered it there three times last week so I would say no to taking a cat for it's own safety
