Only a small portion of the beach front is officially dog friendly. However, no one seems to be enforcing no pooch rules. Lots of people walk dogs along that beach every day, right in front of the "no dogs" signs.
No, about 500 yards is dog friendly. But I see many pups jogging along the waters edge. Some without a leash and haven't heard any complaints.
