I'm a Service Connected Disability Veteran with mobility issues. Is there roads that can get me close enough to take some good bison photos? Thank you!

Agreed with the above comment. The Bison are inside a Refuge that they roam at there own free will. Some crossed directly in front of our car, some were bedded down not to far from the road and others were at least a mile or better away. Chances are pretty darned good for an excellent photo opp but i would definitely suggest if at all possible bring a camera with zoom and some binoculars. Have a great time. It's absolutely gorgeous up top. 👍🏻👍🏻

We were lucky enough to have Bison on the road on two separate occasions. The road doesn't have little sides, but I am pretty certain you'll see Bison.

It's going to be a matter of luck (when you think about it most photography is, isn't it?). We have been there many times and exposed to lots of bison and some awesome animal behavior. One time we saw none. It's a great place to spend the day none the less.

Bison were standing in the road and next to the road when we were there last week.

They are wild animals so no guarantees. We got shots from our car, make sure your windows are clean. Can stop in road for a brief moment to take pictures out of the window when you come upon something. Our disabled aon in law was able to get some shots.
