Hey friend! Thank you for reaching out. We do have an online chat that happens twice a week that you can join remotely. You can find out info at timeoutyouth.org/qchat. We also have an LGBTQ youth podcast that you can listen in to and hear youth from our Center talking about different topics. You can listen in at timeoutyouth.org/podcast. We are located right on the bus line too if taking the bus would be an option! We hope you will be able to visit us in person. Feel free to call our center or send us an email for additional resources if you need.
Are your parents accepting of lgbtq+ people and communities? If so, you most likely can just take an Uber or a taxi there. If they're not accepting, if you have a friend that goes there, ask if you can hang out with that friend and go to Time Out Youth together.
the only stupid question is the unasked question
You can easily go in and ask for help. They provide resources for you that could help if you need it. This question was not stupid, and I encourage you to get on a public bus and tell them you need to get to a safe place, if they ask you which one give the address
Thanks! Your answer is awaiting moderation.
