what is the best place to go biking with the family?

I Primitive camp at Halfway Creek . I go back North on the Swamp Fox trail to the Swamp Fox trail head it's a little over 6.2 miles. So out and back a little over 12 miles. It's a nice scenic trail ride. Best to do it in the fall and winter.

The park has many trales to take the family too

Between sunrise, and sunset. Check with a local ranger.
