Does anyone know if you are allowed to cut standing dead wood, or use dead fall for firewood?

Yes as long as it's on the ground

If you call the rangers and pay like 20bucks you can take 2 truck loads. By finding already down trees. Loads of fat lighter if you know how to look

Anything dead on the ground is the only thing you can use for a fire. No cutting anything green.
