I have a 2 year old iPhone 8+ and the battery seems to hold less & less juice meaning I must charge my phone 3x a day. Is this normal & do I need to get a new battery installed? Has anyone used a non-factory charger & find iPhone doesn’t support.

You may have apps running in the background. Check phone and reduce notifications alerts and be selective about what apps should be running all the time.

It is normal for batteries to get weaker as they age. I'm not sure if your battery is replaceable. Most non OEM should work just fine.
