It's the chemical in it. I would wash it off. Get another brand. But you can use it until the date as worn off from the one you applied.
That has happened to my dogs as well. Take her o to the vet and start using pill from flee&tick preventing treatment
Sounds like she had a reaction . Hartz is known for this reaction. Get her to the vet asap.
