The people there were very nice...but the floors in the room were absolutely disgusting. Do not walk barefoot on the floors because your feet will stick to them. The room looked clean, but had a strong body odor aroma all throughout. This place needs some good TLC.

Great hotel to stay at for an unexpected trip. Staff was always helpful and friendly. Rooms were cleanish dusting needed to be done and tub drain unclogged, but for the price it wasn't a huge deal. Would stay there again.

I have a few pros and cons about this hotel: Pros - - Staff is extremely friendly and helpful - Great location straight off the interstate with loads of food and gas stations in the immediate area. Fast food open late. - room was of normal size and good size for two people - within 15 min of the zoo and easy to get to and from Cons- - the property itself is old, musty and difficult to navigate. No elevator. The first room we were in was terribly stuffy, musty and the AC compressor was going out making it very loud. We were switched to another room down the hall which was more acceptable. -bathroom. Very small, no complementary toiletries, very limited towels (had to go down for more and they count them. You have to leave the used ones outside of the door to get new ones), mildew and someone else’s hair in shower, extremely low water pressure makes people with a lot of hair hard to rinse out, and the most astonishing was that the little coffee maker was not only in the bathroom but literally like three feet from the toilet. How is that sanitary? Sink backed up and took a while to drain. - bed. Bring your own pillows! These offer no support at all. But the Bed was comfortable and sheets were soft and comfy. - outdoor pool still closed I booked through Expedia and it was $313 for two nights (Mid May 2022 weekend) Which I think is extremely overpriced for the condition of the property. Again, staff is wonderful but the property needs some serious TLC.

I thought this hotel was decent for the price point. The beds were very comfortable, room was fairly clean, shower was great, location perfect for just passing through. We requested linens for the sofa bed and never received them, we had 4 guests in our party, only had 2 washcloths and towels.
