The veteran must present a valid identification for the transaction whether it be a state id card or a va id. The veterans immediate family may also use this option as long as they also have a valid id and possess the same last name as the veteran on file. The vet discount is kept in the system under the current telephone number of the veteran applying. You can apply for the discount account at the front door help desk or customer service desk.
