Salem Park

Not the greatest location for a park. It's located next to a busy electric road. The banks along the Roanoke river that runs through the park aren't the greatest. It easily floods. It's great if you want some pics of the river. Other than that, I can't see anyone spending more than 30 minutes there tops.

Very peaceful and relaxing park. Sat by the river listening to the calming water after walking the Greenway path close by.

Beautiful spot to stop and skip rocks. Wish there was a bath room and a little kidsplayground

This park is a favorite of ours. There is no playground, but instead there is a river that is always fun for kids to throw rocks in. If the water level is lower it is great for swimming as well. There is a section of pavement that is great for running, with distances marked out on it. On the right side of the park there is one picnic table, but on the far left side of the park there are many more picnic tables. There are multiple benches spaced throughout the park as well. A great place for adults, kids, and pets!
