This was a pitstop on our way through VA. We sat outside next to the fountain. It was very peaceful and breezy. The meatloaf was outstanding. We would definitely go back if we were in the area.

My husband and I stopped looking for a diner or something not McDonald's. We came across Angelle's by accident. We saw it as we passed it, turned around and went back to the restaurant. We were not disappointed. Excellent food and service. Nina was on top of things! If you are on the road and are looking for a place to pull into that is not the standard fast food or chain...this is it.

Popped in here on my way to Chattanooga. Jessica was my server she was excellent and super friendly. She rattled off the specials and while I love blackened catfish it is something I can get in Maine so I settled on the other special for the night country fried steak with green beans and mashed potatoes. The steak was delicious and had just the right amount of breading. The gravy was good the green beans were just the right amount of tender without going into the realm of mushy. And the mashed potatoes were what I would call yummy ( if you do grab them definitely get the gravy. You will thank me ) For dessert I had the berry cake it was a little bit tart with just the right amount of sweet. Next time I am passing through here will be making a pit stop at this restaurant again.

This was my first time to eat at Angelle's. I absolutely loved it. The building is super clean and the staff did a great job taking care of us. I ordered hamburger steak. It was cooked to perfection. My sister let me sample her fries. They were some of the best I have ever eaten!! And everything was very affordable. I will definitely go back in the near future.
