It's not supposed to be for big kids
The splashpad or spraygrounds are for mostly ages 10yo and under. Younger children enjoy playing here while parents can cool their feet and relax in the shade. Older children can get wet to cool themselves before moving into the rest of the zoo. It is a lovely, small splashpad for cooling or smaller children.
During the summer months. The splash pad is very busy. Especially since the renovation.
