Usually they're okay with visitors, just last weekend we stopped by just to walk around after lunch at Whispering Canyon and they let us on through. However, I know that at peak times they may turn you away if you aren't staying there.
We were there last month. While in the store, a man was telling a cast members that he was staying elsewhere and was just visiting. We have visited friends at other resorts ourselves.
