Im an authorized Disney TA. Yes you can purchase packages and cake for inroom surprises in cabins. If you are camping chat with a guest relations castmember online or call to verify. If you use a travel agent, which doesnt cost you anything extra to do, they can set everything up for you and be available for all your needs and help should problems arise. Its like a peraonal disney expert at no extra cost. Have fun!
I remember as a kid having a cake delivered to the room. There are packages you can purchase for in room celebrations.
I can't speak specifically on cake but I do have experience with the take out Pizza at Trails End at the resort. Pizza cannot be ordered ahead of time or delivered by any of the staff anywhere on the resort. Unless the answer specifically mentions camping also you can assume it is BS. I have discussed this issue personally with multiple staff on site at varying levels. Food logistics quite idiotic at present and there are vast improvements that can made in a profitable way.
