Call up the DMV or go in and ask them what you need to bring in to get a California state ID card it's really easy!!! Or go to their website they may have information that states what you need to bring in to get a state ID card. Dmv.ca.gov
They have two types now. If you think you're going to fly, in the US, there is a different type.
