It's always best to make an appointment and sometimes people cancel their appointment, so they let you set your own time and date and if it's available they'll give it to you!! I got an appointment in the last 3 weeks, and got in within a week and a half!! You can look on line at dmv.ca.gov to make the appointment and they're phone number and address in Lancaster is there as well!! They'll send a confirmation to your email address with all the info!!😃
You need to changr you licensr and registration as quick as possible. Therr is incrntives for people to report out of state plates who are seen here longer than a certain amoung of time. With license you could be ticketed as an extra for thst if not done within a certsin timeframe. If you dont make an appt. Expect to spend 2-3h threre if you get therr at 7am if you go later goodluck finishing thr day of eithout appt. Appts are backtrscked by 6weeks
You have 30 days to change your plate and license. An appointment is always best Without an appointment you can be there all day.
