The steepness is relative to a person's mobility. I noticed some older theatre goers requiring hand holding to step down.

Not steep at all. All are pretty good seats - first couple of rows are prime!
That theatre is full usually. They provide you seats they put extra like chair. But it is fine to watch the play sitting on those chairs. They are not uncomfortable.
They're rather nice, not that steep.
