Went to see The Notebook. The venue was the newer stage. The musical was uneven. I had neither read the book nor seen the movie so had no comparison. I throughly enjoyed it. The staging was inventive and apropos. The story was engaging, funny, and poignant. The songs moved the storyline only marginally and that might be because the singing was uneven, seemingly out of the performers' range in a few cases. That said, it was a delightful experience in a good space and highly recommended!

It is in downtown Chicago right on the pier/lake so many hotels within walking distance.
They do have assistive listening devices.
Sorry, I do not know.
The version of MacBeth I saw the actors said was condensed. They did a Q&A after the production because it was a school field trip. It was about an hour and a half and didn't at all feel rushed or too long. It was Goldilocks. 😉
I don't know the answer.
Not at the moment. Looks like All's Well That Ends Well will start in April
Honestly I do not know...the ticket I received was my birthday gift from a friend
No I don't think so.
First, here's a great tip for anyone under 35: you can get CST tickets for only $20! https://www.chicagoshakes.com/plays_and_events/cst_for_20 Next I'll answer your questions as best I can as a frequent play goer and long time subscriber to CST. They, along with most theatres, are indeed "non-profit." That doesn't mean they work for free; that means that donations made to them are tax-deductible. Ticket revenues do NOT cover all their costs, and they get millions in donations. I'm more surprised by how many people are rich enough to donate so much to them than I am by how many can afford their tickets. Lots of folks pay even more to go to major league sporting events or to see Hamilton. CST productions are always of the highest quality.
DISCOUNTED REMOTE ALTERNATE PARKING GARAGES Navy Pier has partnered with three off-site parking garages that will offer discounted parking for $15 when validated at Navy Pier.* Grand Plaza Park (540 N. State), Ogden Plaza Self Park (300 E. North Water Street) and Millennium Park Garage (5 S. Columbus Dr.) are within walking distance to Navy Pier and are serviced by the Navy Pier Trolley seasonally.
You could check on their website I'm sure they post the times for the shows there.
About 1 hr 45 min
We only park there if we are attending a play at the theater, and they validate our ticket. When we visit in the summer we take public transportation

If you are dropped off either at the front or at the stop for Riva, the walk should be less than five minutes. The theatre is at a mid point.
The left side of Navy Pier is lined with parking garages. There's one with a sign that says Chicago Shakespeare that'll get you very close! Make sure you have your parking validated for a discount if you see a show as well. :)
Also - if you're there for a performance at the theater, and they say that parking is full, tell them you're there for Shakespeare. They always reserve parking spots for theater patrons.
2 hours and 45 minutes (including intermission)
You can bring your phone. Though out of respect to the performers please turn it off or to airplane mode. Additionally no flash photography. It is distracting.
Not last time i was there last summer
The box office opens two hours before the performance, so tonight it will be 5:30pm.
