No. Cape Canaveral AFB is run by the 45th Space Wing. That said, there is no usual on base facilities (like housing & a BX) on Cape Canaveral AFB. They get their services like that at Patrick AFB (or what’s left of it)There’s only work facilities. So, your regular military ID (like my retired ID) isn’t good enough. Badged personnel only.

That’s a pretty good question. I’m going to say no. The Air Force base and Kennedy Space Center are joined with no gates so it’s kinda its own entity. If you’re not on a tour bus you will have to stop at the badging station at the west gate. All other gates will direct you to that gate. Unless you have a work order with a contractor your not getting out there. I used to work at 39B.
