Experience of a lifetime! So much to see, the size of everything exceeded my expectations. Never seen a place so clean and everyone so professional and friendly! Experience never to be forgotten.
Jetty park in cocoa beach, or the banna river bridge in titisville...

No housing on base
Is there a good CAC accessible beach access or other spot good for a launch viewing, or would I be better off getting tickets for the publicly available launch viewing sites?

Playalinda Beach is the best spot for 39 launches and the causeway going towards the PPF for 40 launches is best.
Where is the closest place for visiting retired people to stay?
Yes I watch them from Merritt Island n use to watch from Satellite Beach. Of course you don't see it from land up just after it clears any buildings or trees. But they are always great
No. Cape Canaveral AFB is run by the 45th Space Wing. That said, there is no usual on base facilities (like housing & a BX) on Cape Canaveral AFB. They get their services like that at Patrick AFB (or what’s left of it)There’s only work facilities. So, your regular military ID (like my retired ID) isn’t good enough. Badged personnel only.
