As safe as most. I recall the lettuce in question was in Canada? The article i read about this is that they dont know what really caused the ecoli but were assuming it was the lettuce. I wash my Romain and am not afraid of it. I really wish the media would do their job and vet the info they spread about, make it clear and concise...not just click bait. On another note...i have always found that Costco produce to be top product and would pull it if there was any question about its safety.
