no you dont...but they only let a set number of people in per day so I reccomend a weekday and get there in the morning...
You literally need to be there like 15 to 20 minutes before they open to be able to get in the park. Especially in the summer time they were full 15 minutes after opening both days that we got there. Thank GOD we were there on time. It was beautiful and relaxing.
Get there as early as you can, especially if you plan on doing the full river
