You can save some $$$ and bring your own
Entry to the State Park is $8, from there you can rent paddleboards, kayaks, or tubes. Additionally i suggest purchasing the shuttle pass. You csn call the boat house for all those prices.
You can park at Dampiers (South Entrance), take a tram (full size van) to a launch by the North Entrance, then paddle all the way to the end past Dampiers. You'll be able to take another tram back to the south parking lot. Both trams are included with the "Paddle Ichetucknee" option. Note that your return won't be at Dampiers. To return at Dampiers, you'll have to launch at Dampiers, paddle north against the current as far as you can, then return at Dampiers.
There is no camping inside the park. There is a private campground not far from the north entrance.
No only swimming at the north entrance.... tubing at the south entrance 😎🤙
They said North end closed to tubing for ever...only allowing canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards from now on.
The raft cannot be bigger than 60” on any one side
No shuttle service for kayaks
