Valentin has answered your question completely and accurately. NYC is strict, rest assured the staff is very helpful and friendly. It is a fun activity to take part in. If you would like to fire a handgun, or higher calibre assault type rifle, would recommend an excursion to Pennslyvania where it is allowed. It is about an hours drive away, well worth the trip, if that is what your really looking for. Would call ahead to reserve a spot, answer any questions you might have. Enjoy your time in America. 🌻

You will need an ID most likely your passport and to fill out the paperwork to shoot there for the day. You will only be able to shoot a .22 caliber rifle since NYC has some very strict gun laws. Below is the information for the Fee: $75.00 Above fee will provide you with: Instruction from an NRA certified Range Safety Officer Ruger 10/22 semi-automatic rifle 50 rounds of .22 caliber ammunition Targets During your first visit you are required to take a safety course in the classroom and have an instructor on the firing line with you. Return visits past 3 months of your last visit require you to attend a refresher course. If you want to do anything else like a pistol, shotgun or a different kind of rifle I recommend going to NJ on a day trip.
