I'm extremely disappointed that there was no sense in urgency in refilling my dog's prescription. As a result, I had to take him to the emergency room. I took my dog to see Dr. Perez who had suggested that I up the dosage of Hydrocodone for my dog's chronic cough that has gotten worse. This medication is typically out of stock or unavailable at my local pharmacies. So I order it from Mixlab, a mail service. Since its a controlled substance, they need the hard copy prescription in order to process it. I requested the refill on Friday, 8/5. I called the clinic on Tuesday 8/9 and they said it was sent. On Wednesday 8/10 Mixlab said that the tracking information had not changed, indicating that the prescription had not been sent. I followed up with Mixlab on Thursday and Friday and they still hadn't received the prescription. At this point, he was out of the pills entirely and his cough had gotten worse. This morning, I took him to the emergency room because he was foaming at the mouth and could not stop coughing. The ER gave me a week's worth of pills to hold him over until the prescription is filled. Mixlab notified me that the prescription was mailed out Saturday 8/13. That's over a week from when it was requested. The clinic's explanation was they only send out UPS packages when the carrier comes which is sporadic. Why is this the practice if some of these medications are essential for a pet to be able to manage their health? Why wouldn't management have ad admin drop this off or schedule a pick up? I actually like the vets at this clinic so it pains me to leave this review, but something HAS TO CHANGE.

Prices will vary depending on what services you need but they are very good at keeping costs down as much as they can. They will discuss the costs with you before they do anything too so you won't have any surprise bills.
