You cant shoot any guns if you dont have a license, you have to take a mini class to shoot their basic rifle. Other than that they are super strict on shooting gun. Nyc in general is a strict place when it comes to gun. But the instructor is awesome they are very educated on guns and can answer all questions.
Yes. You must have a NYC permit to fire your handgun. Have to wear safety glasses and ear protection. Be a member, or pay hourly rate. No magnums are allowed. Absent that, you are allowed to rent and fire a .22 rifle after a basic safety course.
