How do you get around this resort? It looks very spread out between the various pools, the tiki bar, the basketball courts, the tennis courts, and the actual villas. There does not appear to be any/enough parking around these areas?

Drive your car as ample car spots or walk as weather is wonderful

There is plenty of parking. One can walk everywhere(depending on your health and heat of the day). They have a shuttle, but sometimes they are very slow to pick you up.

The hotel has shuttles so you can call them. If you do, remember to ask how long it will take because sometimes it only takes 5 minutes and others 30+ so you may be better off walking. There is plenty of parking if you have a car.
