Yes they do. Also you have to pass the ASPCA on the right before you get to animal shelter. All they do is rescue and place anomaly with homes.

They will send dogs to a rescue that have health issues. I went to look at a puppy and found out that he had been sent to a rescue because he had difficulty walking.
