They really frown on it. But no harm in asking. Our last dog came from the shelter and we regretted it right away. Said if we brought her back, we wouldn't be able to adopt anymore. Tha being said, she became an amazing pet and that conversation was 8 yrs ago
You are not bound to adopt a pet until you sign the contract for the pet at pick up, we want to be sure the pet you adopt is the right one for you.
