All Chilean men and women residing abroad, who meet the requirements, can request a change of electoral address to their country of residence, on the dates established by SERVEL. The change of electoral address can be done online with the Clave Única or in person at the consulate, according to local health restrictions. For this, the interested parties must be registered in the definitive electoral roll of Chileans abroad. Each country that has a Chilean consulate will have an electoral board that will be chaired by the respective consul. During 2021 there will be three electoral processes in which Chileans abroad will be able to participate: presidential primaries (July 18), presidential election (November 21) and a possible second vote (December 19).
