I recently visited this location and all of the staff was very friendly and helpful. I was able to get the information I needed. I had a pleasant experience. I am only writing this review because I physically drove to Miami based on the other reviews that were here on Google. I recently noticed that most of the negative reviews were a year old or more. I just wanted to share this in hopes that others will have a pleasant experience like I did.

The people here from the entrance are caring professionals
Then the legal staff are all super diligent and attentive and you feel welcome.
I congratulate that institution.

They need to improve customer service. The lady who answers has a very bad attitude. You hang up the phone before you finish talking. And when you ask questions, he doesn't answer you properly. Also while I was talking to her, the lady's cell phone was heard, which left me talking alone to answer her phone.

Dominican Consulate in Miami one of the best services I have received in years
But you have to get there early because it is a small place but the service is worth it
Why do they offer a service to ask questions, if they never have answers? Why do they have a telephone if they never answer it?

In case of not having it in the same direction of the consulate in Miami, there is the office of the central electoral board ... if you need a birth certificate there is the same they get it for you ... I think they do it the same ... then it goes to the office Dominican consulate ... the process does not take you any time ... here in Miami in half a day you leave with your ID and in less than a week you have your passport

Identity card, passport expired, birth certificate. Pay more or less between US $ 150 and US $ 181 cash or money order. You can also ask for a Route Letter and do the renovation in the DR it is more economical.

YES, as long as you already have your Resid in the USA, without Resid USA you CANNOT fly, and the visa costs 10.00 US at the airport you use as a port of entry. I have gone with a Cuban passport. and with the cruises to Bahmas or MX it is the same, you can go as long as you have a USA Resid and with your Cuban passport, in Canada you can go by plane or road also without requesting a visa, the key is the American Resid.
