No, that cannot be done online. You must visit an MVD office to change your name on your driver license or ID card. An appointment is required. Please call 602-712-2700 to make an appointment. Your name must be changed with the Social Security Administration before visiting an MVD office.
For any name change, one would have to go through the Court System, to have a name change.
