Most of the previous answers are correct. The Natural History Museum and Red Butte Garden staff asks that hikers not Park in their lots, because then there is not enough parking for visitors. The upper Northern end of Colorow is wide enough and almost always has sufficient parking on both sides of the street.
Plenty of space on the street, right at the trail head. On a Saturday you may have to walk 50- 75 yards to the start/finish.
