Very short hike to a very small waterfall. I wouldn't stop again for the 8-10 minute hike.

The trail is pretty rough and I only made it partway due to the only decent path forward being over a stone ridge I could not get any traction on. Other than that a nice time even if I did not make it to the water fall.

At the risk of destroying the peaceful serenity of an amazingly secluded hike and waterfall, this was a hidden gem. I've done a few different hikes in big cottonwood and always bypassed this little area not thinking anything of it. But at least in late July it was a wonderful hike that you could follow basically a continual waterfall all the way to the terminus of moss ledge. It isn't a hard hike and not tons of climbing but it might take a bit of heart and dexterity and numberless to make it to an awesome end.

Questions & Answers

Is the trail hard to find? And how is parking?

I went last week and there was nobody on it. Parking is easy to find and the trail starts right off the side of the road. The hike to this falls isn't very far but it's all up hill so it feels like your hiking a lot further then you do but once you get up there it's way cool worth the hike 100%

Are dogs allowed in the hike trail?

No dogs are allowed in big cottonwood canyon. It's a water shed as is little cottonwood canyon. Millcreek canyon has some great hikes and is dog friendly.
