Yes, they do but ive always been told if u want transmission problems do a transmission flush, the manufacture transmission will last the life of the car. I get everything else done but no transmission flush.
Yes to both - * Fuel Sys svc REALLY can improve performance, and removes carbon Transmission fluid, like breaks down over the life of a vehicle and should be changed. Almost all Example, Nissan says every 40000 miles. Regardless, like all fluids in a car, it should be changed per the maint schedule. NO fluid change will "fix" anything. Once you have a transmission slipping, etc, it is too late. This is no different than changing the engine oil, thinking that will fix a bad engine. Replacing and fluid AT REGULAR INTERVALS extends the life of moving parts by ensuring contamination and debris in that system remain only ibn small amount. Old fluids lead to glazing of internal parts, excessive wear and so on. Have it changed when manual says or 100000 mi for most vehicles. If in doubt, follow the owner's manual. I've never seen one saying to never do it. ALL shops use correct fluid to avoid liability, same as "dealers" (who charge a lot more and use similar equipment)
What is your transmission doing that you believe it needs a flush? A closed transmission isn't required to need one unless during a filter change and at that point I would recommend the dealer so as to not have the wrong fluid added just for more business
