They are short handed or staffed enough just to get by..they have a high turnover for employees..I believe only a certain few are authorized to answer the phone and I'm sure they are spread very thin...the customer service center usually has a long line so I would deal with the customers in front of my face first and also on top of that the customer service hours are only till certain time and then it's only one person answering the phone for the grocery pickup AND delivery line outside if you can get a hold of them.... They too are spread very thin for resources and time...they need a better infrastructure especially for all the money we spend there!
Yet you can see emoyees gossiping with each other, they have tome for that.
My husband agrees. He's tried calling about his job application an nothing.
Pretty sure it's low priority for them.
The worse customer service I had to get in a ladder to get items out the top shelves cause you call them and you be waiting for ever and you go to customer service and the girl there ignores you
I gave up calling. And yeah you see employees standing around complaining about each other, their job. You would think they would stock the shelves, but no they complain about another employee not doing their job or about having to work alone. Good luck even finding a manager. And even worse an employee that knows how to help you. Or a register with an actual real live cashier. I have walked out on more than one occasion and left a cart with merchandise because there was 1 cashier and her line halfway through the store. It's not fair to us the customer who is spending our money there but also not fair to the cashier.
They too busy do their own thing
